What is LivLean

LivLean is a supplement produced by company Perfect Origins. They’ve been around since 2013 and it appears from the Perfect Origins that LivLean is their number 1 product. The company sells a number of other natural supplement blends and products.

Presumably, the LivLean name comes from it being a diet supplement that supports liver function. Here are the four key benefits of the product:

  • Supports Liver Health & Detoxification
  • Supports a Healthy Metabolism
  • Immune Function Support
  • Supports Healthy Blood Sugar Levels

LivLean explain these benefits fully on the website. There is also general information about the ingredients in the blend. As well as very detailed ingredients labels with amounts per ingredient.

The LivLean formula is available on the Perfect Origins website for $67 for a 30-day supply. That price reduces to $54.50 if you want to buy 6 bottles together. The product is covered by a very comprehensive and fair refund policy.

There are plenty of diet supplements that will claim to give you a refund. But when you look a little closer it’s for unused product which is a nonsense. You can’t actually try the product without buying but you can look at the bottle. That’s the guarantee many diet supplements offer. Perfect Origins will give you a full refund and just ask you to pay for the shipping.

Science (Or Lack Of) and How Does LivLean Work

The LivLean formula has several ingredients. They are:

  • Green Tea
  • Milk Thistle
  • N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine
  • Artichoke Leaf
  • Citrus Extract
  • Picrorhiza Kurroa Root
  • Dandelion Root
  • Turmeric Root
  • Alpha Lipoic Acid
  • Black Pepper Extract
  • Selenium
  • Vitamin B12
  • Folate
  • Vitamin B6
  • Vitamin C
  • Vitamin B12

There are a whole lot of very run-of-the-mill ingredients in there. Some vitamins and minerals, and black pepper. Green tea, turmeric, and dandelion are common ingredients in diet supplements. Green tea may curb your appetite moderately, turmeric is thought to be thermogenic, and dandelion has diuretic properties.

There’s some evidence to suggest that some of the ingredients such as alpha lipoic acid are helpful to combat diseases like diabetes because they may help to regulate blood sugar.

And milk thistle has been used for many years to support liver health.

The scores overall for the company that makes LivLean are okay but not great, 3 out of 5 stars with 68 reviews from Highya. I can understand why many reviewers were underwhelmed by this diet supplement and gave one-star reviews. There is nothing powerful in terms of a fat burner or an appetite suppressant. Those expecting that, were for the most part, sorely disappointed.

Bottom Line

Now a lot of the things about the product are really good. Namely the 60-day money back guarantee which may be worth giving it a go.

The product ingredients are highly detailed and the product is all natural. There’s a whole lot of do-you-good proven effective ingredients in there.

In addition, there are no “nasties” in there like harsh stimulants or banned substances. That’s not to say you couldn’t experience some side effects but there is nothing harmful in the blend.

It seems likely that the product may be beneficial. But there are a couple of things I have a problem with. The main one being the premise of the product. The product is clearly all about liver function as indicated by the product name and its primary benefit. Which is great. We all want a healthy liver, I’m sure.

But let’s be honest. It’s not really what dieters are seeking out, is it? A fat burner, yes. An appetite suppressant, definitely. A product that restores and promotes good liver function? No.

Now Perfect Origins say we should be seeking out a product that restores liver function. And that’s because if your liver is working well, then it can better control your metabolism and regulate your blood sugar. Therefore, it makes sense to help your body generate liver cells.

But it seems to come at a premium as this product is nearly seventy bucks a month. Now it may very well be that you’re treating your liver well. And, therefore, don’t see any real value in paying this kind of money for liver support you don’t need.

But it might be you feel that liver support is something worth looking into. Damage to the liver as most of us know is associated with alcohol. But the liver can also become damaged from substances such as tobacco, marijuana, and paracetamol.

A diet high in fat and sugar, an unhealthy weight, limited exercise, high cholesterol, diabetes, and heart disease can also increase the risk of non-alcoholic liver disease. So there does seem to be a reason for many dieters to boost their liver function.

But as the reviews appear to prove that’s not really what most dieters want. They want results.

The reviewers who had correctly managed expectations of a liver cleanse were more satisfied. But I still say these people might have been further satisfied had they taken the time to shop around for a liver cleanse product before buying LivLean.

You can buy a 30-day supply of a good quality liver cleanse blend with all the same good stuff such as milk thistle for $15 per month.

Of course, this product is more than just a liver cleanse blend. But I still feel the price is way too high for the addition of some cheap extras such as black pepper, turmeric, and vitamins.
