Hollywood Diet Review

Hollywood Diet Review
Reading Time: 3 minutesThe Hollywood Diet was first made available in 1997. The creator is Jamie Kabler, who started out as a nutritional counselor advising the Hollywood “stars”. Kabler was inspired to create this product line after visiting a European health spa while trying to lose some weight himself.

The product line and the diet itself has changed since it was first introduced and has many products to choose from, including: Miracle Cookies, Miracle wafers, Miracle Liquid drinks, dietary supplements, etc.

In order to lose weight, customers are encouraged to either do a 24- or 48-hour meal replacement (drink the Miracle drink, which is basically concentrated juice) that will lead to a dramatic calorie restriction (about 400 calories per day).

The 24-hour version of the diet drink contains vitamins A, B6, B12, C, D, and E, as well as thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, folic acid, and pantothenic acid in each four-ounce serving. The 48-hour formulation contains (per serving) 75 percent of the daily-required value of these vitamins and nutrients. Both formulations contain 25 grams of carbohydrates, 20 milligrams of sodium, 22 grams of sugar (very high!), and no protein.*

The Hollywood Diet also offers a more comprehensive product that is an alternative to the 24- and 48-hour diets.

The 30 Day Miracle Program is recommended for those wanting to maintain the results achieve with the short 24 or 48 hour diet. How it works: a dieter is asked to replace one meal per day with the Hollywood Daily Miracle Diet Drink Mix. For the best possible outcome, dinner is the meal that is suggested to be replaced with the Miracle Liquid drink. Food high in salt and sugar, red meat, dairy and soda should be avoided.* Taking a brisk 30-minute walk daily is highly encouraged.

Do Dieters Lose Weight On The Hollywood Diet?

Dramatic calorie restriction will certainly help you lose weight quickly. Drinking 400 calories a day will shock your body enough to lose fat, as well as water weight, which might be encouraging to continue with the diet program.*

The overall consensus from customers regarding their feedback was that the caloric drop was unrealistic and very unhealthy. The juices were said to taste good, but they did nothing for your weight loss, and didn’t help you lose any water weight with diuretics. The overall weight was lost by some customers, but the minute they went off of the Hollywood Diet, the weight came right back on, proving that it is not a long-term weight loss solution.*

Is The Hollywood Diet Easy To Follow?

Instructions are as follows: shake the bottle well and mix four ounces of liquid with four ounces of water. Sip it for the next four hours and repeat four times a day. In addition, eight glasses of water are recommended while doing this program.

While doing this diet, no other food or drinks can be consumed. Caffeine is also not allowed.

The 24- and 48-hour programs can be repeated once a week.

Conclusion

My verdict for this particular product is: don’t waste your money!

The drinks are full of sugar, which is probably not the best ingredient to get most of your calories from when you are only consuming 400 calories each day.* If you want to cleanse your body, buy a cleansing tea or simply make your own juices. It will not only help cleanse your body, but will help build a stronger immune system.

The nutritional recommendations given are good: eat clean, avoid sugar, and stay away from processed foods that will in turn help you get rid of extra weight naturally.

When looking to lose weight quickly and safely, make sure to look for a program that offers whole foods, has sample nutritious menus, and offers a support community that you can count on. For even better results find a diet buddy, since he or she will help you stay accountable!
