Feed My Fit Review

- Healthy meals come already prepared for you
- Different plans based off of your lifestyle needs
- They are starting to deliver to gyms
- You can customize your own plans
- You can buy individual meals from their home location without a plan
Feed My Fit is a meal planning system that is based out of Meridian, Idaho. Unlike other food subscription services that offer delivery of groceries to your door, the meals come already made so you do not have to spend time inspecting a recipe or learn to create a new dish. The owner of the company is Baron Hollowell, and he says “All you have to do to lose weight is eat.” [1] While this is not a “weight loss” product per say, they do offer a variety of healthy meals that will be geared toward helping someone be more health conscious such as the turkey chili or Montreal Steak with sweet potatoes. Baron is a lifelong athlete and passionate about health and fitness, so he does take the nutrition of his meals seriously. Feed My Fit only services the state of Idaho (Boise, Eagle, Meridian, and Nampa).
How Does Feed My Fit Work?
The meal planning system is rather simple in context, and the meals will come to your doorstep already prepared. If you live near their home location, you can also go and pick up your meals too if you want to do that. There are specific plans that Feed My Fit offers, and those are:

An example of the menu would be:

Meals– Turkey Chili, Shrimp Scampi, BBQ Chicken with Sweet Mash, Chicken Fajita Bowls, Lemon Garlic Chicken, and Asian Turkey with Green Bean Stir Fry.
There are ordering rules involved with Feed My Fit, and that is simply to have your order placed by Thursday at 5:00pm in order to get your meals for the following week. All of the microwaveable meals come in a microwave safe container, so all the customer has to do is simply place the meal in the microwave for 60-90 seconds with one side of the lid opened. If you want to customize your own plan, you are more than welcome to e-mail feedmyfit@gmail.com and they can help you personally.
Please note it is best to eat your meals within one week of receiving them to keep them from going bad. The meals are very healthy for the most part, so they lack preservatives. If you must freeze meals, only keep them frozen for 2 weeks.
Is Feed My Fit Safe?
Yes, this company provides a safe service for those folks living in Idaho who are seeking easy and healthy meal options delivered to their doorstep. They have a strong following, and positive reviews overall which make the company reputable in the local area. If anything, don’t let the meals sit over a week or they could go bad due to very little preservatives in each dish. [3]

The obvious con is the fact that this is only an Idaho based company (sorry rest of the country/world)! If you do not live in the cities mentioned above, you cannot take advantage of the meals from Feed My Fit. However, with this con comes a pro and that is the personal attention you will receive with options to customize your own meal plan. Let’s dive into other pros and cons below:
PROS
- Healthy meals come already prepared for you
- Different plans based off of your lifestyle needs
- They are starting to deliver to gyms
- You can customize your own plans
- You can buy individual meals from their home location without a plan.
CONS
- Rather expensive since it is catered for only one person.
- Only delivers to 4 cities in Idaho
- Meals must be eaten when they are delivered.
Conclusion
Feed My Fit is geared toward the individual who leads a busy life, yet still desires to eat healthy meals that are calorie and nutrient conscious. All of the plans are catered for one person, and there are no family plan options so if you are cooking for more than one you will be in trouble. The Idaho based company owner is passionate about all things health and fitness and he is now delivering his meals to local gyms for those who want to grab a meal and go. Overall, it is a nice option for those who live in the Boise area and are seeking healthy meals quickly.
